Dark Chocolate Orange Cake

Our special creation for this Father’s Day.

Every layer is significant.

At the base is a crumbly, buttery biscuit, topped with a generous layer of 70% dark, rich & creamy chocolate mousse.

Sandwiched in the middle is a thin layer of flourless chocolate sponge cake, a layer of delicate and aromatic orange pastry cream with some crispy pearls for crunch.

To give it a final touch we topped it with thin chocolate shards for an extra bitter kick to the mousse.

Not too light, not too dense, but definitely intense.
